Shipping Update

Hello!
A quick update today on shipping. I've had a couple minor technical issues that delayed processing shipping, but those should be fully resolved today.
The audiobook is finished and you'll be receiving the updates with download links and codes. For those of you with the audiobook reward, you'll get a total of two notifications of digital rewards since there are multiple ways to get the audiobook.
Some of you already received the first notification. Unfortunately it looks like the rest of you won't get it until we finalize processing the shipping fees for your physical rewards. Sorry about that.
Standard hardcovers, Bacon Master aprons, and 5" cookie frying pans are ready to ship. As soon as we finalize shipping (hopefully today) we can begin printing labels and prepping the shipping.
Special Edition faux-leather hardcovers - printing is done! I should receive the books hopefully next week and can turn them around and ship to you in a matter of just a couple days.

Fulfillment Update

The work continues!

A quick update on fulfillment efforts.
ebooks - Delivered. Please let me know your thoughts.
Audiobook - Finalizing the last couple of edits with the narrator. I expect to have the final files next week, so look for the updadte with instructions for getting your audiobooks!
Standard edition hardcovers - In the process of signing and boxing them. I expect to ship them early next week.
Special edition faux-leather hardcover - Still being printed. Should have them in my hands by the end of November. I will ship them out as soon as I get them. So you should have them before Christmas.
Other add-ons - Most have been delivered. The last few will also ship next week.
What about shipping? We were told we'd be charged later.
Good question. I am in the process of updating Backerkit with the final shipping prices. For both the standard and special edition hardcovers, the prices are looking like:
US: $5 CA: $25 AU: $40 Europe: $35
You will also see a 'handling' fee included with the shipping that will total about $4 to cover boxes, etc.
What about the second Bacon Master book?
Edits are going great. Pawn of the Pantryon will be epic! Finalizing the cover.
When will all of my friends who foolishly failed to follow my advice to back the Kickstarter be able to get the general release edition of Bacon Master of the Apocalypse?
November 15th! The ebook, audiobook, and paperback ahould all be available on my website, on Amazon, and elsewhere.

Hello!
Time flows by so fast! I haven't been slacking off, but have been so focused on moving things forward I kept pushing the update to tomorrow.
So where are the physical rewards?

A quick recap:
ebooks - Delivered. You all should have your copy and I hope you're enjoying them! Please let me know your thoughts - favorite scenes, best jokes, favorite characters, etc.
Audiobook - nearly done! BJ Harrison completed the main book and I just completed reviewing the entire thing and sending him my feedback for corrections/edits. Once he completes those and delivers the final audiobook, I'll package it for deliver. Hopefully some time next week!
Standard edition hardcovers - Arrived! They're beautiful and I'll be packaging them up to begin mailng your books as early as next week!
Special edition faux-leather hardcover - In printing. We ran into some delays finalizing the custom cover, but everything is looking fantastic. The full print run for these gorgeous custom books is in the works. Should have them in my hands by the end of November. I will ship them out as soon as I get them. So you should have them before Christmas.
Other add-ons - Arrived! Many have been delivered already. Others will ship with the books.

I'm glad you asked. The ebook is already available for pre-order, coming out November 15th. PLEASE PLEASE share it with your friends and encourage them to pick up a copy.
The paperback edition will also be available at the same time, and the audiobook edition will be up hopefully by the same day. All editions will be available from my website as well (www.frankmorin.org)

Ebook and Digital Art Package Downloads Have Begun!

Hello!
Super thrilled to announce that the digital rewards downloads have begun. Most of the reward levels included the Bacon Master ebook as well as the digital art package with the phone and desktop wallpaper, ebook cover, and Rubric Empire world map.
If you have completed the survey, you should be receiving an email with the download links. The few of you who have not yet completed your surveys, please do so ASAP.
You'll get the digital art package as a zip file to download and unzip. For the ebook, you will receive a link to download the files from Bookfunnel. They make the download process easy and simple.
In other news, we're making great progress in fulfilling the other rewards:
Audiobook narration by the amazing BJ Harrison is starting next week and should be completed by the end of the month. Barring unexpected delays, audiobooks should be available for download before end of October.
Standard Hardcover edition books have been ordered from the printer and should arrive by mid-October.
Special Kickstarter edition faux-leather hardcovers are in the works. I've been working through final details of the fantastic cover design with the printer, and the books should go to print very soon. Barring any further delays, we should have them by end of October or early November.
Other add-ons have been ordered and are in the process of being created and shipped. Some will be shipped to me for inclusion in your final packages, but some will be shipped directly to you, so keep your eyes peeled.
And in other exciting news, this week I delivered the draft version of Bacon Master book two - Pawn of the Pantryon - to my editor. I am extremely happy with how the second book is turning out, and I'll be working with the cover artist to design the cover in the next couple weeks.

Surveys update and GOOD NEWS!

Hello, my friends!
We got the technical issues resolved with preparing to send the surveys. I am using Backerkit to manage the surveys and fulfillment, and they are great. They do require a 'smoke test', which is basically sending the surveys to 5% of you to confirm everything looks good prior to sending out the surveys to everyone.
The initial smoke test surveys have been sent out. If you were one of the lucky recipients, please respond as quickly as possible so I can verify everything is good. If you see issues with the survey emails, or if anything does not make sense, please let me know.
Also . . . GOOD NEWS!
I managed to squeeze in a bonus perk in every edition of Bacon Master. Every book will include FULL COLOR IMAGES of each of the main characters plus the full team in six beautiful pages at the front of the book.
This extra perk will cost you NOTHING. Unlocking these pages had been a stretch goal I really wanted to hit, but we didn't make it. I figured out how to include them anyway!
